April 27 – Return To Work Update
To all staff:
As you know the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the global economic landscape around the world and we/ACI are no exception to this unprecedented situation. Many governments around the world are planning easing measures surrounding their closures and some have already lifted their measures with hopes that they can get their economy moving again and at the same time contain the spread of this dreadful virus.
Some Canadian provinces are also preparing easing measures with Saskatchewan and New Brunswick introducing a phased approach to lifting various orders combined with measuring strategies to ensure that they in fact will work and contain the spread of Covid-19. Premier Ford is in the process of also planning this strategy in order to get the economy moving again in Ontario.
ACI is continuously monitoring our specific business situation. The Senior Management team has assessed the impact of our current business requirements and have asked managers to asses their specific needs going forward with the intent of bringing back a minimum number of staff members that are required to effectively run their department. Managers are assessing their business needs and will use their discretion to bring back staff members that are needed to efficiently run their departmental needs.
Hopefully, the phased easing measures that will be implemented will help improve the economic landscape in Canada. It is our hope that this will help our business to get moving in the right direction with increased revenue opportunities. This in turn will enable us to bring back more staff members to support the business needs. Our goal is to continue to bring back staff members when the business needs warrant it and we will continue to communicate this to you.
We will also continue to monitor all government and health updates and will communicate any changes to you.
If you should have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any members of the Senior Management Team.
Be safe and stay healthy.
