May 14 – Ontario’s State of Emergency & Back To Work Update

To all staff:

Premier Ford has once again extended Ontario’s State of Emergency. The current extension is to June 2nd.

The link below explains the government’s decision to extend the State of Emergency.

As we have already informed you, ACI is continuously monitoring our specific business situation. The Senior Management team has assessed the impact of our current business requirements and in consultation with Divisional Managers we have been gradually bringing back the minimum amount of employees to effectively run the departmental job requirements. Managers will continue to assess their business needs and will use their discretion to bring back staff members that are needed to efficiently run their departmental needs.

It is our hope that the phased easing measures that will be implemented will help improve the economic landscape in Ontario and in Canada. It is our hope that this will help our business to get moving in the right direction with increased revenue opportunities. This in turn will enable us to bring back more staff members to support the business needs. Our goal is to continue to bring back staff members when the business needs warrant it and we will continue to communicate this to you.

We will also continue to monitor all government and health updates and will communicate any changes to you.

If you should have any questions, please feel free to reach out to any members of the Senior Management Team.

Be safe and stay healthy.
