Ontario’s State of Emergency & A BIG THANK YOU!

To all staff:

As you know Premier Ford has extended Ontario’s State of Emergency until April 13th . This means that all non-essential businesses remain to be closed and all restrictions continue to be enforced. The Premier has also extended the order for all non-essential business closures to April 17th. The Premier has every right to extend the State of Emergency further if conditions do not improve.

At this point in time, we do not know how long the process of flattening the curve will take and how long the restrictions that are in place will take for the province, the country and the world to return to pre-COVID-19 conditions. Our business has been greatly impacted by all of this and as such we are in a position where we must continue to operate with the minimal amount of staff and overall expense to survive the present economic situation. The temporary layoffs will continue until we see a change in the economic situation. It is our hope that we will all see improvements in the fight to combat and eliminate COVID-19.

To the many employees who are on layoff and have been providing assistance, your loyalty and dedication during these times is immeasurable and will never be forgotten. You are our heroes!

To our warehouse team,  your efforts during all of this is priceless. The senior management team thanks you all. You are our heroes!

Please continue to keep up to date with all current developments by looking at the various government websites that have already been provided and feel free to contact us with any questions that you may have.

Be safe and stay healthy.
