Update – Friday April 3rd

As you know the Canadian government is constantly updating the COVID-19 situation as it pertains to families, businesses and communities. This includes general information, relief plans available to all Canadians and businesses and changes to existing laws to protect all Canadians from the COVID-19 spread.
ACI’s Senior Management Team is constantly reviewing all pertinent information as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. ACI recognizes that there are fundamental business challenges that cannot be answered due to the escalating severity of the pandemic. The new government wage subsidy plan requires employers to meet certain criteria to be eligible for the 75% subsidy that they can provide to all their employees. The impact of our greatly reduced revenue coupled with the laws governed by Ontario’s state of emergency have greatly impacted our business. Simply put, we did not meet the criteria to warrant the subsidy for all employees at this time. It is our hope that this will change in the upcoming weeks.
We urge you to continue to keep up with the news bulletins and the government sites that we have already provided you to keep informed with the latest measures that are taking place.
